Wells is well known for shopping – especially antiquing and Maine craft shops. There are amusements aplenty from mini-golf to the movies, and of course water sports and boating excursions from our harbors. You can catch a boat ride for a lobster tour, go fishing, or on a whale watch. Wells Harbor is also popular for its calmer waters making it ideal for paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing.

Nature lovers will find tranquility and serene scenery at Wells National Estuary and Laudholm Farm which offers miles of walking paths along the marsh and coast plus a series of festivals and nature classes.
